The Role: Donor Intake Specialist
Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast, based in Newton, MA, seeks a full-time donor intake specialist (donorscreener) to join our close-knit team. Counseling experience and lactation knowledge required. Bi-lingual strongly preferred. In-person position with limited hybrid available – 4+ days/week in office. Learn more about us here or on social media.
Responsibilities include:
- Screen potential breastmilk donors according to guidelines
- Communicate with donors, potential donors and medical offices in a timely manner
- Participate in educational and community events for perinatal providers and parents
- Manage confidential medical files
In addition to requirements above, a successful candidate is likely to have:
- IBCLC, CLC or similar credential (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English
- Experience working as part of a team
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and quick learner on new programs
- Flexibility and sense of humor
