Our Falmouth Road Race debut – it’s almost time . . .
If you caught our last post, you already know that our excitement for the Falmouth Road Race is off the charts. As we count down to August 17, we’re back to introduce the remaining three runners rounding out our incredible team. Each of these dedicated individuals is running with heart, purpose, and a powerful connection to our mission. From personal stories to unwavering passion, they’re bringing the energy to every mile — and helping us raise critical funds for the tiniest of warriors.
Meet the Falmouth team – take two! Who’s running and why . . .

Name:
Greg
Connection to the milk bank:
A NICU Dad whose son received donor milk
Why I run – In Greg’s words:
The Falmouth Road Race is more than just a scenic run, it’s a tradition that brings people together to support causes that make a real impact. This year, I’m proud to be running in support of Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast, an organization that does incredible work providing donor milk to babies in need.
When our son was born, we had a brief experience needing donor milk, and we were fortunate to have access to it. But many families face much greater challenges, and for some newborns, especially premature or medically vulnerable babies, donor milk can be critical to their survival and health. Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast ensures that these babies get the nourishment they need when their own mother’s milk isn’t available.
By running and fundraising for this cause, I hope to help them continue their mission and expand their reach to even more families. The Falmouth Road Race is the perfect venue to raise both money and awareness for this important work, bringing together a community that believes in giving back.
Every donation helps provide donor milk to the most vulnerable babies. If you’re able, I’d be grateful for your support in helping Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast continue making a difference.

Name:
Kaleigh
Connection to the milk bank:
A NICU Mom and milk donor
Why I run – In Kaleigh’s words:
It’s that time of year again – I’m lacing up for the Falmouth Road Race! Now in my 14th year running, I’m proud to be doing so in support of Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast. This nonprofit milk bank provides donor milk to babies in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) across the Northeast. For these babies, human milk is the safest food source as it helps prevent life-threatening complications like necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC).
The milk bank means so much to me. Born weighing just 3lb 4oz, my son Declan spent a month in the NICU with an NG tube for feeding. While there, we learned about donor milk and why it is so critical. It truly is magic for our little preemie miracles! Fortunately, we had a successful 16-month breastfeeding journey. And, ultimately, we were able to donate over 150 oz to help fragile babies like Declan.
I believe all babies should have a chance to grow and thrive, and Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast helps make that possible. Any donation is truly appreciated.

Name:
Jennifer
Connection to the milk bank:
An Advanced Lactation Counselor and financial donor
Why I run – In Jennifer’s words:
Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast is a nonprofit milk bank providing safe donor milk to babies throughout the Northeast. Human milk is the optimal foundation for an infant’s nutrition, immunological protection, and biological development. All babies should have access to human milk, and in instances where they are not able to receive their own mother’s milk, donor milk plays a crucial role in their ability to survive and thrive.
I fell in love with breastfeeding after having my first of two sons in 2018. Knowing this was what I was meant to do, I began pursuing the path to become a lactation consultant. I became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) in 2021, an Advanced Lactation Counselor (ALC) in 2024, and will sit for the IBLCE exam to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) this September. Additionally, I proudly serve as a board member of the New Hampshire Breastfeeding Task Force. I care deeply about maternal health and providing families with accessible, quality lactation support to help them achieve their infant feeding goals. With this – and running – being two of my greatest biggest passions, I’m thrilled to be running this race on behalf of the milk bank.
Please join me in supporting Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast by making a donation. Let’s give these tiny humans the best possible chance at a strong and healthy life.
