Public hearing on donor milk for Connecticut babies

On Thursday, February 28 there will be a public hearing on Medicaid coverage for donor milk in Connecticut. If you are a Connecticut resident who believes that all babies deserve access to medically necessary lifesaving donor milk, we urge you to attend this hearing and make your voice heard. If you wish to speak at the hearing, sign up from 8-11 am in the second floor Atrium. If you sign up after 11 am most likely you will be scheduled at the end of the hearing.

Whether or not you are able to attend, we urge supporters of the bill to submit a written statement of support via email to the committee by end of day on Wednesday, February 27. You may also wish to contact your own state legislators; the bill’s sponsor, Representative John Frey of the 111th; and the members of the Human Services Committee.
