Support doesn’t always look the way you expect. Sometimes it comes in the form of a cooler packed with donor milk. Other times, it’s in the hum of a motorcycle. Since 2018, members of the Moving Violations Motorcycle Club (MVMC) have stepped in to transport donor milk when it matters most. You might know this incredible crew as Bikers for Babies.
Milk moves through our community in lots of ways, but when Bikers for Babies roll in, it’s always memorable—and sometimes critical
We’ve seen them show up in all kinds of ways. For nearly ten years, they’ve helped “rescue” milk during power outages, made a donor’s final drop-off extra special, and stepped in whenever timing, distance, or urgency called for another pair of hands.
It’s official: The Bikers for Babies Benefit Run
Behind every bottle of donor milk is a network of people working together to keep it safe and reliable for even the tiniest recipients. MVMC is part of that network, with Bikers for Babies helping deliver this lifesaving liquid gold with care, supporting the hospitals, families, and newborns who depend on it.
This year, they’re taking that support even further.
In honor of the milk bank’s 20th anniversary, the bikers are hosting a Benefit Run to support the Compassion Fund. Fueled by generosity, this fund ensures that cost is never a barrier for families navigating unimaginable circumstances—whether that’s an infant with complex medical conditions, maternal loss, or cancer treatment.
Volunteering outside the lines . . .
Not everyone can donate milk. Not everyone rides a motorcycle. But there are many ways to be part of this work. Whether it’s riding, running, or spreading the word, every action strengthens this community of care.
Be part of the mission to ensure no family has to face those early, uncertain days alone. Consider making a gift in support of the Benefit Run—a gift that makes a lasting difference.
